Employee well-being are two important factors that can significantly impact the success of an organization. Organizational health refers to the overall well-being of an organization, including its culture, leadership, and management practices [37]. On the other hand, appreciation from leaders to employees refers to the extent to which leaders value and recognize the contributions of their employees [39]. Research suggests that there is a positive relationship between organizational health and appreciation from leaders to employees. For instance, a study by Apostel et al. (2018) found that appreciative leadership can moderate the relationship between illegitimate tasks and turnover intention [39]. This suggests that when leaders appreciate their employees, it can positively impact employee well-being and reduce turnover intention. Moreover, research suggests that transformational leadership can positively impact employees' organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support [38]. A study by Asgari et al. (2020) found that transformational leadership is positively related to employees' organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support [38]. This suggests that when leaders exhibit transformational leadership, it can positively impact employee well-being and organizational outcomes. Furthermore, research suggests that authentic leadership, transparent organizational communication, and employee engagement are linked to employee trust [37]. A study by Jiang et al. (2018) found that authentic leadership, transparent organizational communication, and employee engagement are directly and significantly related to employee trust [37]. This suggests that when leaders exhibit authentic leadership, communicate transparently, and engage employees, it can positively impact employee trust and well-being. In conclusion, research suggests that there is a positive relationship between organizational health and appreciation from leaders to employees. Organizational health can be improved by promoting a positive organizational culture, effective leadership, and management practices. Appreciation from leaders to employees can be improved by exhibiting appreciative and transformational leadership, communicating transparently, and engaging employees. By improving both organizational health and appreciation from leaders to employees, organizations can increase their chances of success and achieve their goals and objectives.
