The relationship between organizational health and employee awareness of organizational strategy

Organizational health and employee awareness of organizational strategy are two important factors that can significantly impact the success of an organization. Organizational health refers to the overall well-being of an organization, including its culture, leadership, and management practices [1]. On the other hand, employee awareness of organizational strategy refers to the extent to which employees understand and are aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization [2]. Research suggests that there is a positive relationship between organizational health and employee awareness of organizational strategy. For instance, a study by Colvin and Boswell (2007) found that action alignment and interest alignment are two concepts that can help explain the linkages between employee behaviors and organizational strategy [1]. Action alignment refers to the ability of employees to identify and engage in behaviors that most effectively lead to the realization of the goals of organizational strategy. Interest alignment, on the other hand, refers to the extent to which employees are motivated to engage in behaviors that are aligned with the goals of organizational strategy. Another study by Park (2015) found that perceived organizational support (POS) plays a mediating role in the relationship between employee participation and organizational commitment [2]. The study also found that organizational strategy moderates the relationship between employee participation and organizational commitment. This suggests that when employees perceive that their organization supports their participation in decision-making processes, they are more likely to be committed to the organization's goals and objectives. Furthermore, Jiang et al. (2018) found that authentic leadership, transparent organizational communication, and employee engagement are linked to employee trust [3]. The study suggests that when employees perceive that their leaders are authentic, their organization communicates transparently, and they are engaged in their work, they are more likely to trust their organization. In conclusion, research suggests that there is a positive relationship between organizational health and employee awareness of organizational strategy. Organizational health can be improved by promoting a positive organizational culture, effective leadership, and management practices. Employee awareness of organizational strategy can be improved by promoting employee participation in decision-making processes, transparent communication, and employee engagement. By improving both organizational health and employee awareness of organizational strategy, organizations can increase their chances of success and achieve their goals and objectives.
